LOQUENDO / PRODUCTION NOTES

01

Voice cloning: from your recording to a new script

Voice cloning begins with a recording you own or are authorized to use. Upload it, name the narrator and confirm your permission. The voice cloning result appears in your private library when ready. Select it to read a new script, listen and save the recording. Your sample provides a reference for tone and delivery; your writing determines the new words. Revising a line does not require another voice cloning sample.

02

Prepare a clean voice cloning reference

For voice cloning, prepare thirty to sixty seconds of one person speaking naturally. Avoid music, strong echo and other conversations; keep the microphone signal clear without clipping. Voice cloning accepts MP3, WAV or M4A files up to 10 MB. The browser recorder needs microphone permission. Listen before submitting: voice cloning has a clearer reference when the recording is clean than when noise competes with the speaker.

03

Keep your voice cloning result in a private library

Loquendo keeps each voice cloning result apart from its public narrator catalog. Choose a recognizable name and the sample language. You can return to that private narrator while it remains saved and your account has access. Voice cloning has two plan limits: stored voices and creations during the period. Deleting a narrator frees a slot without restoring a creation already used. Check both counters before another voice cloning attempt.

04

Review voice cloning with a paragraph that matters

Test voice cloning with a passage containing a short sentence, a longer sentence and an important name. Listen for pronunciation, emphasis and pauses. Moving punctuation may improve the reading more than repeating voice cloning. Results cannot reproduce every nuance exactly, so evaluate your actual script rather than relying on the demo alone. Compare revisions with the same words. Download approved takes and keep a separate copy of the script.

05

Use voice cloning across videos, lessons and stories

Voice cloning can connect tutorial episodes made on different days. In a course, voice cloning lets you revise an explanation without rerecording every lesson. For stories, audition drafts before editing the final sequence. Move to the audiobook maker when you need to preserve chapters and manage a whole manuscript. The voice cloning studio suits individual takes; the book workspace keeps longer narration organized by chapter and synthesis section.

06

Voice cloning allowances and narration credits

Voice cloning uses a different allowance from speech generation. Each voice creation counts toward your membership limit; narration uses credits according to character count and quality. Check the estimate before confirming. Voice cloning narration requires current account access, even when credits remain. Replaying or downloading finished audio does not generate another take. The daily public studio preview is separate and does not provide unlimited free voice cloning or long manuscript narration.

LOQUENDO / FAQ

Before you begin.

Can I clone any voice?

Use your own voice or a recording you have explicit permission to clone. You must confirm those rights before creation. Do not impersonate someone or falsely attribute statements to them. You remain responsible for the rights to both the recording and the script you submit.

What happens to the recording?

The sample is sent to our voice processor to create the voice. We keep its association with your account to manage access and deletion; it is not added to the public catalog. Read the privacy policy for processing details and how to request deletion of your data.

Does this recreate classic Loquendo voices?

No. Loquendo.ai is independent of the legacy synthesizer and does not distribute its original voices. This feature makes a private voice from an authorized sample. If you simply need an available narrator, listen to the voice catalog before deciding whether you need to create one.
